System Design

Sonic Art understands that in order to achieve excellent sound in any space, the sound system and the acoustics of the room must work together. It is not uncommon for today’s houses of worship to be designed with a primary focus on aesthetics. Unfortunately, many times the quality of the sound is sacrificed. We have taken inadequate acoustic spaces and drastically improved the sound through speaker design, acoustic treatment and management of stage volume.

Acoustical Modeling

Our technicians use state-of-the art computer software such as Auto Cad, EASE and Smaart to aid in the design and tuning of our projects. Each system is acoustically modeled allowing our designers to predict how changes to the room acoustics and speaker system will affect the overall quality and coverage of sound. We create all our line drawings with pinpoint accuracy to ensure precise installation of all audio, video, and electrical products. When the installation is complete, we do a final inspection of the system which includes a complex tuning of the speakers to “flatten the room”. This produces a perfect acoustical space to generate intelligible sound to the audience.
